My Passion
I am a self-taught digital photographer from Massachusetts who started taking photos on my daily walk during March 2020. Over that summer I quickly upgraded from an iPhone to a macro lens and Olympus camera combination, and in 2021 I launched my own business/website – Blue Aster Photography. It features my modern take on florals, and abstracts inspired by the everyday world around us.
My Art
Urban macro photography allows me to capture the often-overlooked details in everyday life. I love finding pops of color, or interesting architectural details in unexpected places - everything from a graffitied lamp post, to a common parking lot tree or shrub can be beautiful from the right angle.
